One day we were having pancakes for lunch and Gabby protested in her idiomatic English, "I can't like pancakes!"
I, being a cold and heartless mother, said, "Well tough, it's what we're having. You can like it or lump it."
To which she promptly replied, "LUMP IT!"

That's my favorite story of Gabs!! It cracks me up! hehe.
I learned a story about Mals the other day. When he was about 8, some people were gonna do some surgery on this guy, and Mals says, "When they open up his heart, will they find Jesus in there?" Oh so cute!!
