Two Zoe funnies

Zoe went to town with Erich yesterday. On the way, she asked him if he could tilt his mirror down so she could see in it. He explained that he couldn't, because he had to see if there were cars behind him.
She took a fast look behind her and said, "There's no cars, Daddy. Can you tilt the mirror down now?"

Erich bought me a lovely coat for my birthday, black, with silver buttons and a military-type cut. I was walking through the kitchen and discovered it on the FLOOR, of all places. "WHAT is this doing on the FLOOR???!!!" I wanted to know. Zoe glanced up from where she was eating her lunch and said completely seriously, "It's okay, Mama, it won't hurt the floor."
